Altamar Society belongs to the tradition of Florida’s great private estates—a place where members arrive for a morning match and remain through lunch, a swim, sunset cocktails, and dinner.

The Estate is not organized around a single activity. It is a complete rhythm of sport, hospitality, conversation, and coastal life.

Arrival begins at the eastern court beneath the estate’s landmark tower. Members are greeted by name, their racquets taken when needed, and the day’s court, dining, and social arrangements quietly confirmed.

Everything in Its Place

The Club Secretary is the keeper of the Estate’s daily rhythm—court reservations, guest messages, luncheon arrangements, member correspondence, and the small courtesies that make the club feel effortless.

The Game Begins Early

Three clay tennis courts and four pickleball courts form the sporting heart of the Estate. Mornings begin with the sound of lines being brushed, nets tightened, and the first ball struck beneath the palms.

The Pro Shop

Part sporting salon, part archive, the Pro Shop serves the practical needs of play without losing the character of the Estate. Racquet service, court arrangements, club whites, leather goods, and selected equipment are presented alongside pieces from Altamar’s sporting history.

Time Between Sets

The intervals matter as much as the matches. Cold drinks arrive courtside. Towels are waiting. Scores are recorded. Conversations continue beneath the palms until the next court is ready.

The Members’ Lounge

Dark walnut, worn leather, limestone, warm lamps, and the quiet accumulation of club history define the Members’ Lounge. It is where morning coffee becomes an afternoon conversation—and where no one is in a particular hurry to leave.

Prepared for the Day

The locker rooms are designed as private dressing rooms rather than athletic facilities: mahogany lockers, brass fittings, marble benches, fresh towels, grooming rooms, and attendants who prepare each member’s place before play.

Westward to the Water

Beyond the western veranda, the Estate opens toward the pool gardens, the beach path, and the Gulf. The shift is immediate—from the energy of the courts to the slower rhythm of water, shade, and sea air.
